The Saints are a blitz-mad team under aggressivedefensive coordinator Gregg Williams. It's safe to say thatBradford hasn't faced a team that blitzes as often as the Saintsdo. But Bradford has completed only 50 percentagainst the blitz over the last three games, so?the protectionand?his need to sharpen up.?The Saints corners will give up some plays; JabariGreer, for example, has allowed a completion rate of 57percent and has been beaten for 4 TDs according to STATS LLC.Bradford's favorite targets when blitzed are DannyAmendola and Brandon Gibson. The Metro-East Lutheran baseball team had a season to rememberin 2009.The Knights won the Marquette Regional with wins over EastAlton-Wood River and Roxana. They followed that with victories overWesclin and DuQuoin in the Greenville Sectional and a win overHerrin the in the Sauget Super-Sectional.Those wins meant a first-ever trip to the IHSA Class 2 finalfour. The Knights extended their winning ways with a win in thesemifinals over Morrison before losing the championship game todefending champion Olympia."Runner-up was not too bad," Knights coach Tim Reeb said.This year's team has a new head man in Reeb, who was been awayfrom the program for the last five years, and also almost anentirely new group of players.The Knights were senior-dominated last year with a couple ofexceptions,New Era MLB Hats. Matt Brynildsen, who was a junior last season, was theteam leader in home runs (six), RBI (49) and stolen bases (23).Brynildsen is also not back, though, as he joined the Army.Senior Jon Trampe is the only returning player who played a keyrole in the final four team from last year.
